A little about me

I saw this on someone else's blog and thought I'd post it so you know a little about me. Plus I'm extremely bored!

I like the feeling when everything's going how it should do, life's on the right track, and everything feels generally happy.
I love my friends. I know this is really cheesy, but I literally wouldn't know what to do with out them.
I wish I become someone people aspire to be.
I remember when I really started to think about/love fashion.
I will never be able to think of good comebacks.
I used to be the one in control, with a choice to make
but now I made the wrong choice and regret it.
If I had a magic wand I'd give my self the ability to have any clothes I want.
and if I was god I'd make sure life wasn't as unfair as it is.

I've Been Spelling Weird Wrong My Whole Life.

Like I said, I got my hair cut short this week. I'm really quite pleased with the result.

My face looks mega weird, (I always thought this was spelt 'wierd'!) ,in this picture, but it's the only one I've got that shows the hair properly.

Ohh, and I forgot someone from the last post.
Boy By Band Of Outsiders.
I don't think I need to tell you why these are on my thank you list. It's pretty obvious.

A Special Thank You.

This New York Fashion Week wasn't really a special one for me, not many collections stood out and there were very few OHH EM GEE moments. After saying this, there were 4 collections that did catch my eye. So this is a little thank you to the designers that made New York Fashion Week worth it.

Thank you to Cynthia Steffe, for the neutral colour palette and very desirable over-the-knee socks. Thank you to Jeremy Scott, for giving a little originality in his designs, we've not seen outfits with cardboard cut out figures stuck on them, have we?! Thanks to Lela Rose, for being a name I've never heard before but really standing out as a extremely wearable and beautiful collection. And last but not least, a thank you to Mulberry, for adding a little pop of colour to the otherwise bland colour pallette of the week.

Yeah, I Wear Dresses Made Out Of Paper In My Spare Time.

I did this mini photoshoot for my sister's art project for college and thought I'd post it here. I like how the pictures turned out, if only the dress I was wearing wasn't made out of paper!
I'm doing another mini photoshoot with a dress that she's making next Sunday, I'm pretty excited for that as the dress designs look so pretty and we've picked a really nice location for the pictures. Lets just hope it doesn't rain!

PS; thanks for the super nice comments on the last post! I don't agree with most of them, but it's really nice of you to say those things. I'll comment your blogs soon, when I get back on track with the blogging world. But, in the meantime, thank you commenters!

sorry it's been so long!

Guys, I'm sarrrrrrry.
I've not posted in ages, I do actually have a reason for this, but it's quite difficult to explain.
But basically, for some reason or another, I had no internet.
I'm gutted I've been missing New York Fashion Week but I'll definetely do a post on my favourites soon.

A kick in the teeth is good for some, A kiss with a fist is better than none.

Spent the day reading LOVE magazine, sipping cups of tea and listening to the same thirteen songs over and over.
oh and has anyone noticed how many naked people there are in LOVE magazine?! This is borderline porn, I'm sure.

Saturday 6 February 2010

To sum up the night, I came home covered in cider, shortbread and other peoples sweat.

As you may have guessed by the pictures, I went to see Jamie T on Wednesday. Overall, the night was amazing, and being covered in all kinds of things, including cider, shortbread and sweat, just added to the experience.
Jamie T was just as amazing if not more amazing than his album, and he was really down to earth, talking to the croud about when he was younger at concerts and stuff, I loved this about him as some other concerts I've been to, they didn't talk very much.

Here are a few funny parts of the night;

Jamie T- "When I was younger and went to concerts, we used to throw beer bottles and cups at the singer, this wasn't being mean, it was just part of the fun. So if you'd like to throw any beer bottles or cups at me, then do."  (Being in the front row, I got covered in anything and everything they threw)

Jamie T- "Did I ever say you could throw shortbread at me? No, so here you go!" (Shortbread tipped over us at this point)

Randomer-  "PIKEY!"
Chester P (Supporting act)- "Yes, I am a pikey, would you like to come back to my caravan?"

And another funny part was when Jamie jumped on the guitar players back and covered his eyes and the guitar player carried on playing then Jamie T fell off and led flat on the floor. (He was very drunk, you see!)
Ha, there was many more funny parts to the night but they're either to hard to explain or their Had-To-Be-There-Moments and you most probably wouldn't see the funny side of it.
So, if any of you get the chance to see Jamie T live, then do! It was the best experience ever and an amazing night!
